Mandatory Evacuation Lifted as of 8:00pm Friday

At 7:30pm, the City of Rye announced it will lift the mandatory evacuation of specific areas across the City:

“As of 8pm, the mandatory evacuation order has been lifted. This is due to a change in the weather pattern. The Rye fire department and Building department will be surveying buildings compromised by the flood water. If you believe your gas or electric has been compromised due to the flood water please call the Rye fire department at 914-967-4530. All emergencies dial 911.”
