The Rye Girls Varsity Swimming & Diving team placed in the State Championships in Rochester Saturday.
“The Rye-Rye Neck-Blind Brook girls had a great State Championship meet,” said Rye Girls Varsity Swimming & Diving Coach Katie Konopka.
- The 200 Medley relay of Kate Chesley, Kayla Lombardo, Megan Tiedemann, and Sydney Goldberg placed 13th.
- The 200 Free Relay of Kayla Lombardo, Sydney Goldberg, Grayson Findlay, and Ayana Ite placed 15th.
- Grayson swam a best time in the 50 free during the relay. Kate Chesley placed 26th in the 100 yard Backstroke.
The team’s season record is 3 – 6.
