Boys Varsity Swimming Floods the Knights of Mt. Vernon
Rye Boys Varsity Swimming & Diving flooded the Knights of Mt Vernon on Tuesday, lapping the Knight’s moat for a 91 – 66 win.
“Rye-Blind Brook had a great swim meat against Mount Vernon,” said Rye Boys Varsity Swimming & Diving Coach Katie Konopka. “Rye 9th grader Kieran Moran qualified for the sectional championships in the 200 IM. Rye-Blind Brook won all three relays.”
Individual event winners included:
- 200 Free: Bryan Laverty
- 100 Fly: Bryan Laverty
- 100 Free: Tripp Redd
- 100 Breaststroke: Filip Glitterstam
The team is 2 – 0. The next scheduled meet is Friday, January 5th at 4:30pm vs. Pearl River-Albertus Magnus.
