“Isabelle Harvey, Sage Ruttenberg, Maddy Walsh and Mali White are this year’s MVP for the Rye High School Varisty Soccer team,” said Rye Girls Varsity Soccer Coach Rich Savage. “Each were significant leaders both on and off the team that led the team to a record of 22 – 2. They all have been a starting members of the Varsity Girls Soccer program since their freshman year. During that time, these girls were unbeaten league champions for 4 years, one southern large school COVID title, a sectional co-champion as well as a New York State class A championship.”
“Mali was the work horse on the wing, Sage played shut down defense, Isabelle added goals, while Maddy was the leader of the center of the midfield.
