Rye Dodges Another Flood Bullet

The City of Rye largely dodged another flood bullet with the heavy rains that started Tuesday, January 9th and continued into the early hours of Wednesday, January 10th. While more “typical” flood spots saw high water, there was not extended flooding in the City.

(PHOTO: The storm did bring some trees down, including this one onto a house on Greenhaven Road. The PD said the handful of trees that came down were all cleared ahead of the Wednesday morning commute.)
