Rye Golf Club Worker Arrested for Forcible Touching

The Rye PD arrested a worker at Rye Golf Club for the forcible touching of a coworker.

Nicholas Aufiero, age 72 of Rye Brook, NY, was arrested on Tuesday for Forcible Touching, a misdemeanor in the State of New York. An investigation revealed that on Saturday, June 29, 2024, Aufiero inappropriately touched a coworker while working on the grounds of the Rye Golf Club.

After his arrest, Aufiero was arraigned before a City of Rye Court Judge. Aufiero was released on $500 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Rye Court on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. Rye PD reminds you that booking charges are merely accusations and the defendant(s) are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
