It was a balanced offensive attack from Rye, which saw two players – Erin Ball and Phoebe Greto – each contribute eight kills to co-lead the team, while Valeria Medina added six of her own as a third offensive threat. The kills funneled through setter Ashley Dehmer, whose standout performance included 25 assists.

Greto also added six blocks on the defensive side to pace the Garnets, while libero Emma Lundstead led Rye with eleven digs.

Watch the replay of the match-up. Rye will embark on their first road game of the year in their next contest, scheduled for Tuesday, September 10, at Nyack High School. The Garnets will have home wins against Nanuet and Saunders on their resume heading into that matchup, the first game in a stretch of five of six and eight of eleven on the road.
