Rye – Rye Neck – Blind Brook Swim and Dive Compete in League Championship Meet
The Rye – Rye Neck – Blind Brook Swimming and Diving Team competed in their league championship meet on the morning of Saturday, October 26, which included several events featuring all team members.
“The team had a great league championship meet this weekend,” Head Coach Katie Konopka told MyRye.com in her postgame report. “The team had many sectional qualifiers including Clare McGlynn (200- and 100-meter freestyle), Sophie Boyle (100M free), and Ayana Ite (100M backstroke). ” Beyond qualifiers, lla Godden swam a season-best time in the 500M freestyle. The 400M freestyle relay of Kate Chesley, Ayana Ite, Grayson Findlay, and Kayla Lombardo (pictured above) placed third overall.

Diving
Autumn Massey-Carver placed 22nd, Zoe Lopez placed 17th, and Claire Biddle placed 11th. The divers were the first to go on Saturday morning to kickstart the meet.
