Varsity Volleyball Bounces Back with Win vs Rye Neck
The Garnets Volleyball Team spoiled Blind Brook’s senior night on Tuesday evening, defeating the Trojans 3-1 (21-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-19). Rye actually trailed one set to zero and 15-14 in the second set, but a huge scoring run shifted the momentum of the game for good, and Head Coach Geri Jones’ team never looked back.
Ashley Dehmer led the offense again with 43 assists, just four shy of her season high watermark. She also added 2 kills and 2 blocks from the middle of the court. Other prominent performers include:
- Valeria Medina – 14 kills and 8 digs
- Erin Ball – 12 kills and 4 blocks
- Phoebe Greto – 12 kills and 2 blocks
- Emma Lunstead – 11 digs and 1 kill
