Santa Wants Letters from the Boys & Girls of Rye
On Monday afternoon, Rye Recreation officials said they had heard from Santa Claus over this past weekend. Old Saint Nick is looking for letters from the boys and girls of Rye, and is promising to send a return letter. Remember, you need to send a letter to Santa first:
- Letters will be accepted from December 2nd to December 15th.
- Drop letters off at one of the two Santa community mailboxes (located at 281 Midland Ave (the Rye Rec office) and on the corner of Elm & Purchase Street (in front of Anna Maria’s Wine Bar – no word if Santa is a patron))
- Include a return address on your envelope. No return address means no reply and an unhappy child!
Rec officials told MyRye.com: “Rudolph will come via Reindeer Express to collect the letters and take them back to the North Pole for Santa to reply. He’ll try to be quick to answer every letter. Send your letters before Santa gets too busy. Santa wishes everyone a happy and jolly holiday season!!”
