Berkshire Brokerage Head in Rye Expands Remit Across Westchester
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS) New York Properties recently announced the promotion of Robert Silverman to regional vice president for the Westchester region. Silverman will continue overseeing the Rye, NY office. Over 20 brokers work from the Berkshire Rye office including Cathy Garr, Margaret Grasso and Meg Allen Rodriguez.
In its announcement, BHHS said under Silverman its Rye office has achieved remarkable growth across all key metrics, including revenue, profits, closed units, and agent team expansion since Silverman assumed his role in January 2023.
“Rob’s unwavering dedication to our organization and his exceptional track record make him the perfect leader to drive our growth in Westchester,” said Candace Adams, President and Chief Executive Officer of BHHS New England, New York, and Hudson Valley Properties. “His commitment to excellence, combined with his ability to inspire collaboration, will help us continue to provide outstanding service to our clients.”
A graduate of Bryant College (now Bryant University) with a Bachelor of Science in Management and an MBA in Management from the University of Connecticut, Silverman brings experience in human resources and real estate to his expanded role. He joined BHHS 12 years ago, earning his Connecticut real estate license in 2016 and his New York license in 2019. He has served as the Sunshine Kids chairperson for 10 years, spearheading fundraising successes to benefit children with cancer, and has been an active member of the BHHS’ DEI Council since its inception.
“I am deeply honored to take on this expanded role and continue serving the Westchester community,” said Silverman. “This region holds incredible potential, and I am excited to work alongside our talented agents to achieve our shared vision and deliver exceptional results for our clients.”
