RESULTS: 47th Annual Turkey Run

Rye Recreation hosted their 47th annual Turkey Run and Paws Walk on a chilly Thanksgiving weekend morning, as over 1300 participants across four different events gathered on Saturday, November 30, on Midland Avenue. Dogs participating in the 1-mile Paws Walk set things in motion, as several furried friends towed their owners for 5280 feet (or less, in some cases). Half an hour later at 9:30am, human races got underway with the mile-long Fun Run. No official results were released for these two races.

The main events kicked off at 10:00am with both the 5K and 5-mile races. 629 runners finished (468 completed the 5K, 161 the 5M), up over one hundred from the 519 that did so in 2022. Here’s how the results shook out for both events (you can find full final standings here):
