Ken Jenkins has officially won the special election for the Westchester County Executive position, and will assume that role for the remainder of 2025. The decision was technically still up in the air as of late last night, but there was little doubt for the result, which is now official.

It was rumored that Jenkins’ (D) opponent Christine Sculti (R) called to concede the race well past midnight last night, but it was not until this morning that the Daily Voice confirmed the race was over and declared Jenkins the victor.

Jenkins reposted two tweets (X posts) confirming his acceptance of the position and acknowledgement of his victory. He later sent out a lengthy post thanking his support system.

“I am deeply honored to be elected as your next Westchester County Executive, and I cannot thank you enough for your support,” Jenkins wrote on Wednesday, February 12. “You braved the cold, the wind, and the snow to make your voice heard, and because of you, we secured a victory that belongs to all of us.”
