In Memory: Emily June Billington, Age 32
With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Emily June Billington (March 29, 1993-April 22, 2025), beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who left us far too soon at the age of 32.
Emily was born and raised in Rye, NY to her loving parents Michael Billington and the late Gina DeCarlo. In school, Emily would unknowingly form friendships that would last a lifetime.
At the age of 16, Emily met the love of her life, Anthony Labarta. Through ups and downs the two stayed strong and spent 15 loving years together. Together they have a daughter, Mia Grace, who was the light of her life.
Emily was a loving sister to Max Billington and sister-in-law to Jenna Giorgi and Dominick Labarta. She was an amazing daughter-in-law to Bernadette and Evelio Labarta (Maria). She adored her niece and nephew, Jason and Lydia Billington. Emily loved her countless uncles, aunts, and cousins in both her and Anthony’s family. Emily greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and was always looking forward to celebrations or vacations.
Kind, selfless, and generous to a fault, Emily was the sort of soul who showed up, without being asked, whenever somebody was in need. Whether it was a friend, stranger, or animal needing support, Emily was always there to offer her help, gentle smile, and compassionate heart. She made people feel seen, heard, and loved.
Those who knew Emily often said she had a light about her, a presence that made the world feel a little softer and kinder. Her love and laughter touched everyone she met. Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made will be felt forever.
Emily’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her, especially in the lives of those she loved the most. Emily’s memory will forever be felt when watching her favorite movie The Nightmare before Christmas, drinking a cup of English breakfast tea, hearing a Jonas Brothers song, and on Halloween.
A memorial service to celebrate Emily’s life will be held at Graham Funeral Home located at 1036 Boston Post Road, Rye, NY 10580 on Friday April 25, 2025 from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Emily to a gofundme setup for her daughter Mia.
She was love in human form, and her legacy is one of kindness. She will be missed by many close friends and family.
