Meet Axi! Likely a bulldog spaniel mix, he is super sweet. He has a chocolate, shiny coat and the most adorable facial expression. He is bigger than a spaniel but has a long fluffy spaniel tail. Axi is loyal and easygoing, and he loves to give love! He gives kisses and will nuzzle, gently patting you for attention, and then leaning in for hugs, with a tail constantly in motion. Axi has the perfect balance of lazy cuddles and chill vibes on nature or neighborhood walks. He hasn’t met a food he doesn’t like. He enjoys a bully stick and fresh veggies, and is an easy pill taker if required.
Axi is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He is quiet and friendly when meeting people and dogs of all sizes. He is a low-shed dog and loves ear rubs. His tail and coat appear spaniel so he might fetch someday, but for now a casual stroll or sunbathe in the sun is his speed! He also enjoys car rides. He’s a smart boy and knows “sit”, “paw”, and “down.” Axi’s foster home is one with middle school-age kids, and he just wants to be around his people as much as possible. It will be a very fortunate family that welcomes Axi to their home.
