Rye Boys Lacrosse concluded their regular season with a tight 11-8 victory over Mamaroneck on Saturday, May 17. The Garnets conclude the season 13-3, with only one loss to an in-state opponent.
Tucker Hess scored four points to pace Rye’s offense, supported by three-point performances from Charlie Brady (hat trick), Tyler McDermott, and Carson Miller. Will Niejadlik, Henry Gilroy, and Matt Giannetti also scored goals, and Gage Sasse chipped in an assist to round out the scoring.
As has become a recent trend, Sam Lamonte and Ty Ramachandran both earned minutes in net, combining for 11 saves (.579 save percentage). Lamonte made seven stops as his late season surge continued. In the faceoff circle, Wilson Redd won 13/22 draws (59.1%).
