
The Rye Boys Lacrosse team put up 18 goals on Thursday, May 15, routing Harrison 18-3. Four different Garnets scored at least three goals to celebrate the final home game of the 2025 regular season in style and win their fifth game in the last six.
Tyler McDermott (4), Will Cadigan, Charlie Brady, and Will Niejadlik all scored hat tricks against the Huskies, with Niejadlik adding two asissts and Brady one. Tucker Hess, Henry Gilroy, Carson Miller, Matt Giannetti, Jack Logudic, and Wilson Redd all added goals as well. Redd won 14 of 15 faeoffs before ceding duties to Thomas Goldszer, who claimed 4/8 and supplied an assist.
The Garnets improve to 12-3 with one regular season game remaining. Rye travels to Mamaroneck on Saturday, May 17, for an afternoon finale against the Tigers. First faceoff is scheduled for 3:00pm at Mamaroneck High School. Watch the recent win over Harrison here.
