The Rye Softball team fell to Ursuline on Thursday, May 15, in an 8-0 defeat. The Garnets hung around but could not generate offense against the Koalas.
Jill DeSanto and Clara Meszkat had Rye’s only two hits on the day. “Tough loss against a good team,” Head Coach Alex Tejera admitted after the game.
Rye (5-11-1) has a quick turnaround to get back into the win column, as they host Scarsdale today, Friday 5/16, at 4:30pm at the new RHS softball field.
