Edward Coristine, the Rye Country Day School ’24 graduate and former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team member who goes by the self declared nickname name “Big Balls” who was assaulted in Washington DC last Sunday, has earned thanks and a phone call from the most powerful man in the world.
“We have a capital that’s very unsafe,” said President Donald Trump on Wednesday, August 6. And then referring to Coristine he said: “You know, we just almost lost a young man, beautiful, handsome guy that got the hell knocked out of him the night before last, and I’m going to call him now.”
Then on Thursday just before 6:00pm, Trump posted (again) about Coristine on Truth Social, saying “Edward: The Crime situation in Washington, just like our Southern Border where ZERO Illegals entered in the last three months, will be a safe place very soon. Thank you for your bravery and heart. Stay tuned!”
