Rye PD held its third annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Rye Recreation. Public safety staff, local officials and residents came out for food, ice cream and games. It was a great mild summer evening – a nice boomerang from last year when rain cancelled the event.
Many in the department were sending props to Police Officer (and Rye native) Latoya Anderson for organizing the event (she controlled access to the all important free ice cream tickets).
