The Rye Volleyball team won three straight sets to defeat Harrison 3-1 on Monday, September 15, improving to 4-1. The Garnets dropped the first set convincingly, 25-12, but turned the tides quickly and took the next three sets 25-19, 25-16, and 25-22.
Phoebe Greto shined with eleven kills and six blocks, and she was backed by Olivia Lewis (seven kills) and Giorgia Brizio (five kills). Amelie Modesto racked up 27 assists, also adding four kills, four aces, and two blocks. Emma Lunstead dug 21 balls for 5.25 per set.
Rye (4-1) travels to Pelham for their next match on Thursday, September 18. First serve is set for 4:30pm on the road against the Pelicans. Watch the win over Harrison here.
