The Clay Art Center announced on Tuesday, October 28, that it successfully raised $151,238 on Saturday, October 18, during their annual Hand in Hand Annual Benefit & Auction. With still a few days left to donate, the center has already surpassed its 2025 goal of $150,000.
“Your support today will allow us to continue growing our current programming and mission as we look ahead to the future,” Executive Director Emily Peck said in a speech on the night of the event. “While we are excited for the future possibilities, we also want to continue expanding our scholarships, community programs, and support for residency programs today, which is why we need your ongoing support. We couldn’t do everything we do without the support of all of you, so thank you.”
Also on that Saturday night, the center honored fourteen individuals who have been taking classes for at least 15 years. The funds raised will go towards “continuing to grow programs, scholarships, residencies for artists, and more at Clay Art Center,” according to the October 28 press release.
