The city council’s agenda for its meeting at 6:30pm on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 is out. The Council will convene at 5:30pm and adjourn into executive session to discuss additions to rules and regulations of Rye PD, amendments to City Code, and donations to RCSD. The meeting will also be aired on Cablevision Channel 1310 (formerly 75) and Verizon Channel 39. We’ll also see you on the Internet (live and archive).
Formal office hours of the Mayor and other officials have been suspended.

- Civic Duty. Open a public hearing to amend Chapter 141 “Peace and Good Order” of the Code of the City of Rye by adding new Sections 141-10 “Public Urination or Defecation,” 141-11 “Enforcement,” and 141-12 “Penalties for Offenses.” Note: Police are particularly concerned with behavior around the Rye – Harrison football game, Thanksgiving weekend and July 4th.
- Plan in Hand. Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a general services agreement with the Laberge Group for various engineering, grant writing, architectural, and planning services.
- Play It Forward. Resolution accepting the donation of playground equipment from the Rye City School District.
