The Rye Girls Basketball team stayed undefeated on the 2026 season on Monday, January 12, as they comfortably defeated Clarkstown South 62-42. The Garnets have now won Jane Hopper – excuse me, eleven – straight games to open the year, and their 62-point performance marks a new season high for the offense.
“This is a huge team win vs a very talented Clarkstown South team,” Head Coach Margo Hackett told MyRye.com.
Frankie Chiaravalle set a new season-high with 20 points to lead all scorers. She also watched as three teammates entered double figures in the scoring column – Phoebe Greto (14), Stella Maresca (11), and Charlotte Storz (11). The veteran core has continued to lead the Garnets all season. This win over Clarkstown South marked the first time that four teammates all scored at least ten points in a single game.
