The Rye Boys Squash team continued their winning ways on Monday, January 12, as they swept Greenwich Country Day 7-0. The Garnets have now won their first five games of the 2026 season and stand firm in first place in the Fairwest League.

“The Rye Boys Varsity Squash continued on their winning ways,” Head Coach Quan Huynh happily told MyRye.com after the match. “The team remains undefeated and is looking forward to some heavy competition versus Hackley and Rye Country Day before the end of the month.”

After a light December with only two contests, the Garnets have won all three January matches. Monday marked their second straight sweep after 7-0ing Scarsdale last Friday.

The Garnets (5-0) are next in action on Tuesday, January 20, as they host Wesport at MSquash. As Huynh noted, they have upcoming matches against Hackley on January 22 and in-town rival Rye Country Day on January 30.
