The Rye Baseball team clinched their sixth consecutive victory on Saturday, April 18, as they outlasted Lakeland 3-0. Senior right hander Michael Talbott pitched a complete game shutout, walking zero and allowing just five hits for his first win. He struck out eight in the masterpiece.

Talbott also went 2-3 at the plate to lead all Garnets in hits. He also notched an RBI, the cherry on top of his banner day. Jackson Pineault drove in the other two runs, and Nolan Hutson showed his speed with three stolen bases.

Rye (7-2) will seek their seventh straight victory on Monday, April 20, as they host Clarkstown North to cap off a three-game homestand. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30pm at Disbrow Park.
