The Rye Arts Center (RAC) raised $365,000 at its annual fundraiser, Studio 51 at The Capitol Theatre on Friday, May 8, 2026. Funds will support RAC’s mission to provide meaningful arts experiences for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. The event featured a live performance by North America’s premier U2 tribute band, The Unforgettable Fire, along with returning masters of ceremonies Ian Rapoport and Kyle Brandt.

The Rye Arts Center honored its 2026 award recipients: Shami and Anand Kini, recipients of the Champion of the Arts Award for their longstanding leadership and generosity; Lynn Mara, recipient of the Visionary Artist Award for her bold creativity and community impact; and The Ground Glass, recipient of the inaugural Mosaic Award in recognition of 50 years of collective artistry, mentorship, and influence on Rye’s creative community.

“Studio 51 perfectly captured what makes the Rye Arts Center so special,” said RAC Executive Director Adam Levi. “It was creative, meaningful, and full of community spirit. Every person in that room helped ensure that the arts remain accessible, transformative, and alive for our entire community. It was a powerful reminder of what is possible when people come together to support the arts.”
