The City of Rye experienced flooding after the rainstorm that started overnight Saturday into the first half of Sunday, September 13, 2026. According to Precipitation Inc., local rainfall amounts were in excess of 3 inches.
Rye PD reported localized flooding of low-lying areas, and said that four vehicles were disabled due to the floodwaters. No other significant damage was reported as of Sunday afternoon.
