Franco “Frank” Fazzolari, a longtime resident of Rye, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on October 26, 1946, in Reggio Calabria, Italy, to Salvatore and Rosina Fazzolari, Frank carried with him throughout his life the strong family values, unwavering determination, and tireless work ethic that shaped the man he became.
In 1966, Frank immigrated to the United States with hopes of building a better future and creating lasting opportunities for himself and his family. With determination, ambition, and a willingness to work hard, he began his career as a barber shortly after arriving in this country. Through years of dedication, perseverance, and pride in his craft, Frank established himself as a respected businessman and a familiar, welcoming presence in the community. He was the proud proprietor of Antonio’s Barber Shop, a beloved Larchmont institution that he operated for many years. For Frank, his work was more than a profession; it was a reflection of his character, his commitment to excellence, and his desire to build something meaningful through honest, hard work.
Frank took great pride in the life he built through his own efforts. Over the years, he successfully acquired real estate holdings that represented the fruits of his labor and his keen sense of responsibility and accomplishment. He worked tirelessly, always striving to provide security, comfort, and opportunity for those he loved most. His achievements were a testament to his determination and resourcefulness, but his greatest source of pride was never measured in material possessions. It was the family he cherished, the memories he created, and the love he gave so generously throughout his life.
Outside of his work, Frank found tremendous enjoyment in life’s simple pleasures. He treasured spending time at his home in Florida with his wife, golfing with his friends, sharing food, laughter, and friendship with those he loved. He also took great pleasure in tending to his garden, where he found satisfaction in nurturing and watching things grow. These pastimes reflected the many sides of Frank’s personality: his appreciation for good company, his patience, and his enjoyment of the rewards that come from dedication and care.
Those who knew Frank will fondly remember his generous heart, warm smile, and unmistakable presence. He had a way of making others feel welcome and valued, and his kindness left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him. Beneath his hardworking nature and strong sense of responsibility was a man whose greatest joy came from the people closest to him. Above all else, Frank was a devoted husband, a loving father, and an adoring Papa. His family was the center of his world, and he took immense pride in each of them. The love, guidance, and devotion he shared with his family will remain an enduring part of his legacy.
Frank leaves behind his beloved wife, Teresa (née Angilletta); his loving son, Salvatore, and beloved daughter-in-law, Angela; his cherished daughter, Linda; and his adored grandchildren, Lilliana, Franco, and Isabella, who brought him immeasurable joy and pride. He is also survived by his loving brothers, Saverio Fazzolari and John Fazzolari (Rosalba), as well as his dear brothers- and sisters-in-law, Rose Maffei, Mary Cannetto (John), Sal Angilletta (Gisella), Sally Angiletta (Rosemarie), Lucy Mastrogiacomo (Angelo), and Joe Angilletta (Rosemarie). He will be deeply missed by his extended family, many friends, and all whose lives he touched throughout the years.
Frank’s life was one of perseverance, achievement, generosity, and, above all, love. From his beginnings in Italy to the life he built in America, he demonstrated the value of hard work, the importance of family, and the lasting impact of a life lived with purpose and devotion. Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him, his memory will live on through the family he so dearly treasured, the friendships he cultivated, and the many lives enriched by his kindness. He leaves behind a legacy that will continue to be honored and cherished for generations to come.
To honor Frank’s life and celebrate his memory, family and friends will gather on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY (914-698-5968). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Resurrection Roman Catholic Church, followed by entombment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
May Frank rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and dearly loved.
