Margaret Ann Treacy (Annie T), beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Dublin, Ireland on June 9, 1942. Ann was the eldest of five children. She loved her family, her school, her friends, her sports, proudly captaining her field hockey team in high school. Above all, she cherished her family and friends in Ireland, with whom she shared a deep and lasting bond throughout her life.

In 1972, Ann moved to Rye, New York, with her three young sons, Peter, Paul and John. Leaving Ireland was a major change, but she embraced her new home and quickly built a life filled with friendships, community and family. Her family continued to grow during those years, with her son Bobby born in Chicago, and, after the family returned to Rye, her daughter Carolann born on Saint Patrick’s Day.

Ann loved Rye and became deeply connected to the community. She built a successful career in real estate, developing lasting relationships with many families and people she met through her work. She was also deeply involved with Resurrection Grammar School, where all five of her children attended and where she served as President of the PTO. Ann organized countless school events, including the Resurrection Golf Outing, which became a much loved and successful event. She gave her time, energy and heart to the school, bringing people together and forming friendships that remained an important part of her life.

Ann’s greatest joy was her family. She was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren and was always their biggest supporter and cheerleader. She loved celebrating every milestone, from birthdays and holidays to engagements, weddings and births. She had the remarkable ability to make every occasion more fun and every gathering more special simply by being there.

She loved to sing, laugh, and bring people together. Her warmth, kindness, generosity, and joyful spirit touched countless lives. She had a way of making everyone around her feel welcome, loved, and that everything was going to be okay.

Ann is survived by her five children, Peter and his wife Dina; Paul and his wife Debra; John; Bobby and his wife Genny; and Carolann and her husband Joey Pasion; her grandchildren, Emma, Piper, Conor, J.P, Madeline, and Ryan; her sister Yvonne Tuthill and her brothers Jimmy and Johnny Menton.

She is predeceased by her husband, Ted, and her sister, Loretta Menton.

Ann leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, laughter, family and friendship. She was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her. Ann would always end a phone call or an encounter with the words, “God Bless Love.” It seems only fitting that we end the same way.

God Bless Love.
