The Rye Volleyball team kept up their winning ways on Friday, October 9, as they swept the visiting Fox Lane 3-0 (25-10, 25-11, 25-14). The Garnets coasted to one of their easiest victories of the season, which increased their winning streak to ten games. Since falling behind Horace Greeley 2-0, Geri Jones’ team has now remarkably won 15 sets in a row.

Despite the truncated contest, Amelie Modesto still managed 31 assists, good for more than 10 per set. Katie Hillis and Audre Campbell continued their strong stretches with 10 and 8 kills respectively, and Charlie Wing played one of her best games of the year with nine kills.

Rye (12-2) will enter their next game scorching hot. The Garnets travel to Pelham on Monday, October 12, for a 4:30pm road start.
