Rye PD Arrest Alleged Oxycodone Dealer

If you still don't think drugs are in our community, here is Exhibit #1… Rye PD busted this beauty and charged him with possession and intent to sell.

Thank you Rye PD.

Our only question is why is someone who is arrested for this allowed out on only $2K bail?

Brian Levinson

The City of Rye Police Department announces the arrest of Rye resident, Brian Levinson, age 24.

On September 7, 2016, Levinson was arrested with over 100 pills including Oxycodone and a small amount of Suboxone. He was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd with intent to sell, a Class B Felony.

Levinson was processed, arraigned and ultimately released on $2000.00 bail.

Police Commissioner Michael C. Corcoran, Jr. stated that, “this arrest is a result of outstanding investigative work by our officers and supervisors. I am extremely proud of the members of the Rye Police Department and the work they do on a daily basis. We will continue to dedicate additional resources to deal with drug related issues in our community. Additionally, an Anonymous Tip Line was put in place earlier this year.
