Feeding Westchester at the Center of Addressing Food Insecurity in the County
Feeding Westchester, the leading food bank in Westchester, is the recipient of donations made to the RyeFIRST fundraising campaign, organized by the Rye PBA, the Rye Professional Firefighters Local 2029 and MyRye.com. The group is part of a complex supply chain that local food banks and food pantries depend on to receive food for distribution to their constituencies.

Feeding Westchester told a local media outlet in late March it typically distributes 800,000 pounds of food in a month. In late March it had already distributed 1.35 million pounds in just a few weeks.
