Playland beach goes to the dogs on Monday.
The county operated beach opens Monday to dogs as an off leash area to run and tire out four legged friends and their owners. The beach will remain open to dogs from this Monday, September 28th until Sunday, May 2, 2021. The beach will be open from dawn to dusk.
The county parks folks request you keep your dog leashed until on the beach. If there are any issues related to maintenance such as litter or overflowing garbage, please go see someone in the Playland administration building or call 914-813-7010. If there is a public safety issue, you can call the Westchester County Police on 914-813-7010.
