On Wednesday, Rye Boys Varsity Hockey fell to John Jay Cross River 4-7. The team’s season moves to 0-3.

“Rye took the lead but got into penalty trouble and allowed John Jay to come from behind for the win,” said Rye Boys Varsity Hockey Coach Peter Thomas.

Peter Angelastro had two goals, Drew DellaSalla had one goal (his first varsity goal) and one assist, Brendan O’Byrne had one goal, Liam Hurley and Carter Barford each had two assists, and Jackson Leahy had one assist while Anabelle Thomas made 36 saves for the Garnets.
