Dear Milton Families,
Early this morning, a gas sensor at Milton School alerted the custodial staff to a problem. Con Edison and the Rye Fire Department were notified and arrived quickly. They found two small leaks in pipes connected to the boiler for the school. Gas service to the building has been turned off and plumbers are currently making the necessary repairs.
We are able to open school at 10:40 a.m. as announced in the earlier message from Dr. Byrne. Lunch service will proceed as normal. Thank you for your patience and understanding. As always, the health, safety, and wellness of our students and staff is our highest priority.
Sincerely,
Annie Piekarski

Good morning, Milton School Families,
I apologize for the extremely short notice, but we will have a two-hour delay at Milton School this morning. A gas sensor has been activated and we must have ConEd visit the school to investigate.
Thank you for your patience and understanding,
Dr. Eric Byrne
