I was born and raised in Rye. Had a wonderful childhood. Riding bikes, catching fireflies, Playland, and the beach. Haven’t been back in years. Last time I was there for a visit there was a Victoria’s Secret on Purchase St. Never expected to see something like that! Along with numerous banks. Rye sure has changed from the 50’s and 60’s. But, that’s progress for you!
I’m curious about all the leaf blower complaints. Do they have jet engines for motors? Why do so many people call the police to have them come out to stop the use of leaf blowers? Of course, in my day we used rakes, lol! But, seriously, leaf blowers???
