Boys Varsity Hockey in Draw with BYSNS
Rye Boys Varsity Hockey found itself in a draw Wednesday evening against Brewster/Yorktown/Somers/North Salem. The Garnets finished tied 3-3 in the second game of the season.
“Goalie Anabelle Thomas bailed the team out on numerous occasions to preserve the tie,” said Rye Boys Varsity Hockey Coach Peter Thomas.
Rye goals were from Cal McLoughlin (unassisted), Tommy Greenhaw from Tommy Richardson and Cal McLoughlin, and Henry Bagley (1st varsity goal) from Dempsey Brown. The season moves to 1-0-1. The team plays again Friday at 6pm vs. Carmel.
