Girls Varsity Cheer Enters First Competition
The Rye Girls Varsity Cheer team made history on Saturday when the team entered its first traditional cheer competition (ever!) at New Rochelle High School.
“Rye varsity cheerleading made history [Saturday] by competing in their first ever traditional style cheer competition,” said Rye Girls Varsity Cheer Coach Melissa Marsden. “The girls have been working so hard despite all of the COVID chaos and we are so proud of them for getting to this point.”
The team will compete at the John Jay East Fishkill invitational this coming Saturday.
