Heard in Rye welcomes Lisa Damour, Ph.D. to Rye for a day of events for parents and children on Monday, April 29, 2019.

Damour writes a monthly adolescence column for the New York Times  and is the author of Untangled: Guiding Teenage Girls Through the Seven Transitions into Adulthood.

This is a bit confusing but we've got four programs all on Monday:

9:30am at the Rye Free Reading Room – The Magic Years: Parenting Pre-School and Early Elementary Children (for parents of young kids)

12:30pm at Holy Child – Untangling the Social Lives of Girls (for parents of girls)

3:45pm at Rye Free Reading Room – session with middle school and high school students (students only)

7:00pm at Rye Country Day School – Confronting the Epedemic of Stress and Anxiety in Teenagers (open to all)
