33-Year-Old Man Found Dead
A 33-year-old man was found dead at the Marriott Courtyard hotel at 631 Midland Avenue.
The deceased, from Brooklyn, was found by housekeeping in Room 411 on Thursday afternoon, July 28th. Cause of death was determined to be suicide. Rye PD investigated the scene before turning things over the the Medical Examiner’s office.
No further details have been made available.
The last reported suicide at the Courtyard hotel was two years ago, in July 2020. The Rye hotel is on the border with Port Chester, near the I-95 on-ramp and the Home Depot store.
