In Memory: Carol Lynne Voiges Tipton, Age 76
Carol Lynne Voiges Tipton passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022, of complications from Covid-19 pneumonia at the age of 76. Carol was born on October 11, 1945, in Rye, New York, to Carl and Doris Voiges, where she was raised with two sisters and a brother.
On July 4, 1963, she married Robert L. Tipton. Together they raised daughter Wendy and son Robert.
In her spare time, Carol loved gardening, sewing, and shopping. On many days, you could find her out in her garden, elbow-deep in dirt and planting the most colorful roses. But what she loved most in life was to be surrounded by her family and friends.
Carol is preceded in death by father Carl and mother Doris. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Robert, daughter Wendy Hedgpeth and husband Keith, son Robert C. Tipton and wife Crystal, grandchildren Trey Tesno and wife Lisa, Kate, Kristina, and Josh Tipton, great-grandchildren Isaiah and William Tesno, sisters Suzanne Meyer and Marianne Boyce, brother William, and several nieces and nephews.
The service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Forest Park Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384 at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to your local animal shelter, Shriners Hospital, or Montgomery County Search and Rescue, all charities close to Carol’s heart.
