According to school officials, the final vote tally is:
YES 1,842 votes or 64%
NO 1,048 votes or 36%

The bond has passed and now the Board is fully in budget season. And guess what. The budgeted costs are now $300k LESS than shown in Jan. BUT the Administration is proposing spending that savings. Yup. Spending the “found” money as opposed to either reducing the proposed tax levy OR reducing the planned use of reserves. Must be nice to have money to burn.
