Boys Swimming Crested by Yorktown-Somers
Rye Boys Swimming and Diving was crested by Yorktown-Somers on Tuesday. Yorktown-Somers took the win 98-76.
“Prior to the start of the meet we recognized our senior swimmer Cameron Park from Rye Neck,” said Rye Boys Swimming and Diving Coach Katie Konopka.
Meet highlights included:
- Bryan Laverty and Will Soviero placed first and second in the 200 freestyle.
- Bryan Laverty won and Cameron Park placed 3rd in the 100 backstroke.
- Filip Glitterstam won the 100 breaststroke.
The team is 0-9. The team will compete at the divisional diving championship on Thursday, January 26th and the divisional swimming championship on Saturday, January 28th.
