The 2022-23 Rye Boys Varsity Swimming MVP is junior Tripp Redd.
“Tripp had a great junior swim season,” said Rye Rye Boys Varsity Swimming & Diving Coach Katie Konopka. “He placed 4th in the 50 Free and 7th in the 100 Free at the Conference 2 Divisional Championship meet. Tripp won Conference 2 All-League honors for his performance at Divisionals. He qualified to swim the 50 Free and 100 Free at the Section 1 Championship meet.”
“At Sectionals, Tripp placed 22nd in the 50 Free, 28th in the 100 Free, and was a member of the 200 Free relay that placed 15th. Tripp was named athlete of the week for the week of February 20th.”
