The city council's agenda for its meeting on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 is out. See you at 8:00pm at the Square House. The Council will convene at 6:45 p.m. and it is expected they will adjourn into Executive Session at 6:46 p.m. to discuss real estate matters. The Executive Session will be followed by a screening of “The Council Project”, interviews with former council members, from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m. The meeting will move from the Square House to Council Chambers in City Hall at approximately 8:45 p.m.
The Rye establishment turns out for the annual Square House meeting – past mayors, council people, city staff and others of Rye lineage. if you are going to attend one council meeting each year, come for this one.
Meetings are also aired on Cablevision Channel 75 and Verizon Channel 39. We'll also see you on the Internet (live and archive). No office hours for the Mayor this week.

- Woof. Consideration to set a Public Hearing for May 25, 2011 to amend Local Law Chapter 76,
“Dogs”, Section 76-5, “Running at large prohibited” and Section 76-6, “When Leash Required”, to establish regulations for the leashing of dogs at Rye Town Park. - FOIL'ed. Resolution to amend the City of Rye’s FOIL procedures.
- Taste Makers. Two appointments to the Board of Architectural Review for a three-year term, by the Mayor with Council approval.
- Grievance Day. Designation of the Chairman of the Board of Assessment Review by the Mayor.
- TOIL'ed Appeal of denial of FOIL request by Timothy Chittenden.
