Boys Varsity Swimming Jams the Rams of Port Chester
Rye Boys Varsity Swimming & Diving jammed the Rams of Port Chester, winning the Friday meet 91 – 71.
“Prior to the start of the meet, the Rye-Blind Brook swim and dive team celebrated our senior swimmers: Jon Capaldi, Bryan Laverty, Finn Palermo, Tripp Redd, and Will Soviero,” said Rye Boys Varsity Swimming & Diving Coach Katie Konopka. “Rye-Blind Brook had a strong meet against Port Chester.”
Meet highlights:
- Niko Field won the diving competition.
- Wilson Redd won the 50 Free and 100 Fly.
- Tripp Redd won the 100 Free. Bryan Laverty won the 200 Free.
- Filip Glitterstam won the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke.
- Rye won all three relays.
The team is now 7 – 0. Next up is Poughkeepsie on Monday at 5:00pm.
