An Afternoon Full of Pride in Rye Town Park
It was an afternoon full of pride at Rye Town Park. In conjunction with the local pRYEde group, Rye Town Park held is 4th annual pride event. It spanned the afternoon into the arly evening with a fair, flag raising, parade and an after party on the beach.
“The first two letters of the word Westchester [are] W and E,” said Westchester Executive and Rye guy George Latimer, one of several officials that spoke just prior to the raising of the Pride flag. “And the success of this County … is our willingness to be inclusive all all different backgrounds of people.”
