Per Jensen

Per B. Jensen was born in Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 10, 1944. He immigrated to New York City in December 1950 with his father Svend and mother Maria. Jensen moved to Rye with his family in 1957 and was an active student athlete at Rye High School. He enlisted in the army in 1966.

The family moved to Rye in 1957 and lived in Rye Gardens. Jensen graduated from Milton School in 1957 and Rye High School in 1963. He co-founded the Rye High School lacrosse team 1963. In high school Jensen also participated in wrestling, tennis, stage crew, and the AV club. He worked at his family businesses, Svend Jensen of Denmark on Post Road and Copenhagen-Denmark Gifts on Purchase Street. 

Jensen graduated Rider College (now Rider University) in 1966. Immediately after college, Jensen enlisted in the U.S. Army and served his country during the Vietnam War. He has lived in White Plains since 1971 and has worked in 15 countries through the years. More on Jensen.
