Police Exercises Saturday at Playland
Back in May, the Rye police department warned us the US Marines were going to stage a mock invasion of Playland (see the Marine invasion of Playland video). Now, in a reverse 911 call to residents, the Rye PD is telling its citizens to remain calm this Saturday.
This time, it is not a Marine helicopter / beach storming. The Rye PD will be conducting tactical exercises with other area police departments. If anyone is able to take photos, send them along and we’ll run them next week.
